Gen 1 vs Gen 2

Pick Gen 1 or Gen 2 from the style options. The Gen 1 design has a less ergonomic handle and a smaller hole for wiring. Its pivot point is not offset. On the plus side, the Gen 1 swivel is substantially thinner than the Gen 2 model, a difference of about 0.5".

Both generations of the MobiFrame Transit driver swivel seat base rotate 180°. If seat height matters most, the thinner Gen 1 swivel may suit you. If you want the better handle, the bigger wiring hole and the offset pivot, choose Gen 2. Images shown are the Gen 2 Transit swivel.

Why Add a Swivel

A 180° swivel turns the driver seat to face the camper. Parked, the cab seat becomes lounge or dinette seating. It adds a seat without using more floor space.

Plan the swivel with your galley, table and bed layout. Leave room for the seat to rotate past cabinets behind it.
