We recommend using a 1/2" material for your subfloor, such as Baltic Birch, Advantech, or plywood. To secure the insulation, we suggest a contact adhesive like 3M 94.

How Our Ford Transit Floor Insulation Works

This product is the bridge between our full insulated subfloor system and our floor paper pattern templates. We source 1" polyiso acrylic sheet goods and divide the floor into 6 parts (8 for extended vans) to reduce shipping cost.

The polyiso parts are CNC cut just like our floor system to key into the ribs on your Ford Transit. This gives you a flat insulated surface 1/2" above your ribs to then apply your subfloor to.

Installation Steps

Glue the polyiso down using contact adhesive (we recommend 3M 94).
Trace and cut your subfloor. We recommend a 1/2" material for your subfloor (Baltic Birch, Advantech, plywood, etc).
Add your choice of finish material. We recommend vinyl floor for a durable, seamless finish.
Trim, and your floor is complete!
