Expertly Crafted for a Perfect Fit
Our subfloor is custom-built in-house using a precise CNC-machining process. We offer systems for both the 148-inch and 148-inch extended wheelbase Ford Transit models. Each subfloor is made from three or four panels, depending on your van's length, that perfectly match the contours and ribs of the van floor. This tight, drop-in fit is not only easy to install but also maximizes insulation efficiency by minimizing air gaps.
Superior Insulation and Durability
The system features our own proprietary insulated panels, constructed from a robust sandwich of 12mm Baltic birch plywood and 1-inch polyiso foam, bonded together with a strong 3M 70 construction adhesive. This creates a resilient substrate with an R-value of 6.6. While we route grooves into the foam for a perfect fit, the overall insulation remains highly effective, keeping your van warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
The total height of the installed subfloor above the top of the ribs is approximately one inch, providing a minimal height increase while still offering excellent insulation. We also include one tube of 3M 550 sealant per panel to ensure a secure installation.
