How much space does the Tetravan zipped curtain shower take up?

Almost none. It nests into a 21.75 x 30.75 x 3.5 inch recess plus 3.5 inches behind for plumbing, about 7 inches total depth. Folded, only the 2.625 inch handle protrudes.

Will it fit my Sprinter, Transit or ProMaster?

Yes. It is designed for all three, plus travel trailers, truck campers and boats. You need roughly 7 inches of depth and 32.5 inches of height at the mounting location.

Do I need a water heater or pump?

Yes. You need a 12V water pump (Shurflo or Seaflo recommended) and a water heater. It connects via standard 1/2 inch NPS-F hot and cold fittings, and most builds share the sink's hot water supply and drain.

Which curtain entry options are there?

The magnetic zipped curtain comes with a front, left or right entry to suit your layout.

How much does it weigh?

65 lbs installed. Ask about the aluminum version if weight is critical.

Tetravan Zipped Curtain Shower, Folding 2.1

Tetravan Folding Shower 2.1 with Magnetic Zipped Curtain

The Tetravan zipped curtain shower is the Folding Shower 2.1 with a magnetic zipped curtain. It is the next generation of the original Tetravan Shower System. U.S. Patent No. 12082755. This van shower kit gives you a complete shower inside your camper van, trailer, boat or RV without giving up living space.

In stock and ready to ship.

How the Tetravan Zipped Curtain Shower Works

Fold down the integrated shower pan and connect the magnetic zipped curtain. Your private shower is ready in less than a minute. When you are finished, the shower folds back into place.

What's Included in the Shower Kit

Tetravan folding shower in matte black
Custom magnetic zipped shower curtain (front, left or right opening based on layout)
Upgraded stainless steel shower head with adjustable flow control
Quick-connect hose, mixer valve and shower head mount (pre-installed Shower Port System)
Scandvik 1.5" straight drain fitting
Magnetic zipped mesh pouch for storing hose and curtain

Size and Install

The shower nests into a 21.75" wide x 30.75" tall x 3.5" deep recess, plus 3.5" behind for plumbing and hose storage. Folded, only the handle protrudes, just 2.625". Cut a 22" wide x 32" tall opening starting at floor level. The 23.25" x 32.5" flange face-mounts over the cutout with 12 quarter-inch holes. Wood screws are included. Bolts and 1" 8020 extrusion also work.

Mount it to a sink cabinet side, a bed-front bulkhead or under a modular bed panel. If you can cut an opening and drill a drain hole, you can install it. Install guides and technical drawings are available.

Drain and Build Quality

The patented drain design sends water into a 2"-deep trough, so you can shower on uneven ground. A drip edge catches the last drops when you fold it up. The drain exits through a hole in the van floor beneath the gutter. Run it to a grey tank or ground per local rules.

The shower is laser-cut from anti-corrosive duplex stainless steel with marine-grade fixtures. A marine compression latch holds it shut, so there is no rattle on the road. The matte powder coat is textured for grip.

A wet bath uses 6-10 sq ft of floor full-time. The Tetravan zipped curtain shower disappears into 3.5" of wall depth. It is made in the USA.
