Why Furring Matters

The Ford Transit has curved walls and a curved ceiling. Paneling straight onto that shape is tough. Furring flattens the structure so walls and ceiling panels sit flat.

Screw locations matter too. The body has hardened steel and pinch welds that fight you. Furring gives you places to sink screws that avoid them.

Where It Fits in Your Build

The Ford Transit furring bundle goes in before your walls and ceiling panels. Once the furring is up, you have a flat base for the rest of the interior. The bundle is tagged for High Roof 148, Medium Roof 148 and 148 Extended vans.
