Why a Side Ladder
If you run solar, a roof rack or a roof deck, you will be up top often. Climbing on tires or bumpers is not a great plan. A side ladder gives you a set path to the roof every time.
The five step platforms on the Transit Scout Side Ladder give you solid footing on the way up. The upper bracket and lower base step anchor the ladder at the top and bottom. Everything you need to assemble and install it comes in the box, from the uprights to the step platforms.
Required Parts and Fitment
Please note: Vanspeed says this side ladder can't be used on its own. It installs to the side rails of the Vanspeed Transit Scout Rack 148 and the driver valence of the Vanspeed Scout Side Steps. Both are required. It fits 2015+ Ford Transit 148 vans.
You can mount the ladder forward of the rear wheel well. Or mount it further forward to clear Vanspeed Transit capsules.
