Which Sprinter lengths does it fit?

It is currently only available for the Sprinter 144. A 170 version is coming soon.

How is it different from the insulated floor system?

This floor sits on top of the van's ribs, 3/4 inch above them, for better airflow and moisture management, instead of keying into the ribs.

The Sprinter floor step and trim, which are necessary for a correct install, plus 3M 550 adhesive (one tube per board). Lead time is 2-4 weeks to shipping with $350 flat rate freight.

The Mercedes Sprinter synthetic subfloor from AVC RIG is our most advanced floor yet. It's built from 100% inorganic materials for durability: high density 3/4 inch polyurethane foam reinforced with double fiberglass stringers, designed to withstand the rigors of vanlife. Made in USA.

Unlike our standard insulated floor system, this one sits on top of the van's ribs, for better airflow and moisture management. Sitting 3/4 inch above the ribs, it integrates with the standard AVC RIG step and trim. Add your choice of flooring material, such as Marine Vinyl or 2tec2, and your van floor is complete.

Sprinter Floor Step and Trim are necessary for a correct install and are included.

Installation

Installation is straightforward with the included 3M 550 polyurethane adhesive. It gives you a 15-minute working time and a 60-minute skin time, which allows for a precise installation. We designed this floor to be a more forgiving install for both professional and home builders.

Lay the boards on the ribs, glue them down with the 3M 550, then set the step and trim. Your finish flooring goes on last.
