1/8" Landau Upholstery Foam by the Yard
Our 1/8" Landau upholstery foam is the layer we install on every AVC RIG Wall Kit before upholstering. It adds thermal and sound insulation to your van, and it gives your wall panels a premium, plush finish once the fabric goes on top. It's sold by the yard in a 57" width.
Why Use Landau Upholstery Foam in Your Van
Fabric stretched straight over a hard panel works, but it feels thin. A layer of Landau under the fabric softens the surface and adds another layer of insulation to your camper van build. That's why it goes on every AVC RIG Wall Kit we upholster.
We also use Landau upholstery foam on areas of the van that get upholstered directly. Above the slider door and the rear arch both get wrapped with Landau before upholstery at AVC RIG. It softens those spots so the fabric lays down clean.

How Much Landau Upholstery Foam Do You Need?
A full 148 Transit Van will take 20-25 yards of 1/8" Landau foam. If you're only wrapping a few spots, like the rear arch or the area above the slider door, you'll need less. Measure your wall panels and ceiling panels before you order.
NO RETURNS ON FABRIC/FOAM, so measure twice.
Where It Fits in Your Build
Landau goes on after your panels are cut and before the fabric. Lay the foam on the panel, then wrap your upholstery fabric over it.
