Want that finished pro look for your unistrut kit? Or maybe you just don't want to scalp yourself on a sharp metal edge? The AVC RIG unistrut trim cap is for you.
What the Unistrut Trim Cap Does
3D printed right here in Colorado, this cap is designed to finish off the ends of unistrut. Simply place it over the end and screw it in. It's that simple. Get a couple and try 'em out.
We recommend only using these where there will be an exposed unistrut end. If a cabinet or panel already covers the exposed end, you don't need one there.
Where to Use a Unistrut Trim Cap
Unistrut is the backbone for mounting cabinets and gear in a lot of van builds. Once everything is bolted in, you may still have an exposed end at a doorway, above a bed, or near a seat. That's where a sharp end catches heads, hands and fabric. A unistrut trim cap covers that exposed end and makes the install look finished.
- Finishes the ends of unistrut with a clean look
- Covers the sharp metal edge
- Installs by placing over the end and screwing it in
- 3D printed in Colorado
How It Works With Our Unistrut Kit
Our Unistrut install guide covers where the caps go. Our ceiling track has pill-shaped cutouts made for these 3D printed end caps. Wall tracks usually end up behind cabinets, so they don't need caps.
- Find exposed ceiling sections, like the passenger side ceiling where no cabinet is installed.
- Slide the end cap into the slot.
- Secure it with a small screw. The screw goes through the unistrut slot, not through the cap itself.
