When it's time to turn the seats forward and drive, the table top needs a home. The table storage latch gives it one, the same way an airplane seat holds a tray table up before takeoff. The Lagun base plate has a small rib on its bottom edge. Leave the vertical arm on the tabletop, slide the arm onto that rib and tighten the handles.
