The height above the top of the ribs is about 1\".\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe R value of the material is 6.6, so we suspect it may be slightly less than that because we route out some of the foam. But with the contours fitting perfectly to the ribs, it creates a well insulated floor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen you order, you can choose a solid floor (No L-Track) or a version pre-cut for L-Track.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eInstallation\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGlue the floor down using the included 3M 550 adhesive, add your choice of finish material (we recommend vinyl floor for a durable seamless finish), and install the trim. Your floor is complete!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe step valence sits at the slider door. The step valence is part of the structure, so it goes in with the floor pieces.
